How to use the Asian handicap calculator
Choose the handicap as it applies to your team. If you backed the away side at +0.5, pick +0.5. Our Asian handicap guide explains what each line means. The table under the result shows how the same bet settles for every result from a three goal win to a three goal defeat.
A push returns your stake. A half win pays half your stake at the full odds and refunds the other half. A half loss loses half your stake and refunds the other half.
How a -0.75 Asian handicap settles
A £10 bet at -0.75 is two £5 bets: one at -0.5 and one at -1. Here's how it settles at odds of 1.95.
| Result | Settles as | Returns | Profit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Win by 2 | Win | £19.50 | £9.50 |
| Win by 1 | Half win | £14.75 | £4.75 |
| Draw | Loss | £0.00 | -£10.00 |
| Lose by 1 | Loss | £0.00 | -£10.00 |
A one goal win is the half win. The -0.5 half wins and the -1 half is a push, so you get your £5 back plus £4.75 profit on the other half.
