How to use these Championship predictions

Each percentage is what the odds say, with the bookmaker's margin taken out, so home, draw and away add up to 100%. If you rate a team's chance higher than the market does, that's where a bet could have value.

Compare a chance with the price you're offered using the odds converter, and read our value betting guide for the maths behind it.

Championship predictions FAQ

How are these Championship predictions made?

They're the market's view, not our tips. We take the home, draw and away odds, remove the bookmaker's margin and show what's left as a percentage. Where the betting exchanges price the game we use their odds, because they have the smallest margins. Otherwise we average the bookmakers.

When do the predictions update?

Fixtures for the next 7 days load each morning. Match odds update each morning and again about 45 minutes before each kick-off. Over 2.5 goals odds update each morning, and BTTS odds are taken once, within 24 hours of kick-off. Nothing updates once a game has started.

What do the BTTS and Over 2.5 columns show?

The chance both teams score, and the chance of three or more goals, each from the odds with the margin removed.
