How to use these predictions

Each percentage is what the odds say, with the bookmaker's margin taken out, so the three results add up to 100%. If you think a team's chance is higher than the market's, that's where a bet could have value.

Compare the chance with the price you're offered using the odds converter, and read our value betting guide for the maths behind it.

Questions people ask

How are these Premier League predictions made?

They're the market's view, not our tips. We take the home, draw and away odds, remove the bookmaker's margin and show what's left as a percentage. Where the betting exchanges price the game we use their odds, because they have the smallest margins. Otherwise we average the bookmakers.

How accurate are odds-based predictions?

Over many games, closing odds are one of the best guides to the true chance there is. Any single game can still go the other way: a 60% favourite fails to win four times in ten.

When do the predictions update?

Fixtures for the next 7 days load each morning. Odds update once a day, and on match days again about 45 minutes before each kick-off.

What do the BTTS and Over 2.5 columns show?

The chance both teams score, and the chance of three or more goals, each from the odds with the margin removed.
